Cabinet finally goes live

Hello everyone. I hope you continue to be well.

I have been informed that the cabinet is now live and working. Openreach Fit & Test finally came around and did what needed to be done.

As I have mentioned in a previous post. Manley Village Hall will go live with internet access first. You will recall the reason for this being that the building is not eligible for the government voucher scheme.

We hope we can showcase this live service in the hall in the coming weeks. I will update more on the details.

With regards to the Government (DCMS) vouchers. There has been some communication between Gigaloch and DCMS. There were some questions that needed to be answered and these have now been addressed. Rest assured DCMS are looking at our area now and I hope there will be some movement on issuing the vouchers soon.

Once this is done properties can go live.

In the time between now and then you will see the Gigaloch teams completing routes of ducting to prep for the big voucher day!
