Gigaloch December Update

Hello everyone, I hope you are all well and ready for Christmas? I wanted to update you on the current going's on with the Gigaloch build.
As many of you know I have a weekly Microsoft Teams meeting with Paul Walker from Gigaloch.
Here is what I'd like to share with you this evening.
14,700 metres of land access granted for the spine to be laid. This spine installation will commence during the 2nd half of December before the Christmas break.
They (Gigaloch) have surveyed 48 houses in the past 10 days with regards to home installs.
164 premises have currently signed up, the response over the past 7 weeks has been phenomenal. The design teams are extremely busy drawing up property installation plans ready for the duct installs to begin next week.
They are providing a free advertising screen to the community shop in Ashton Hayes, by doing so this gives them a platform to inform the community exactly what they are doing.
This will also be a free to use service for local businesses and community groups. If groups want to use the screen to advertise, you can email Gigaloch directly with a single page advert and Gigaloch can upload it on your behalf. This could be adverts for businesses, dates for the diary type information etc. Please let me know if this is of interest to you and I can put you in touch with the team responsible directly.
You might have noticed that there are flyers in the community shop also, they can be found on the post office counter and newspaper rack near the door. Please do consider picking one up.
The Gigaloch investors visited the area, they are happy with progress and are exploring ways in which they can support the building of the network.
I hope you find this update informative and as always, if you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me.
